Raenette Synnott

My name is Raenette Anguiano, I am a proud mother of four amazing children, I have two grandchildren with one more on the way in August! My youngest son is currently a student at Thrive. At the age of 8 I was taught to crochet and in 7th grade, I learned how to sew. I also knit, weave native baskets, and bead native jewelry. I have a driven passion to teach others what has been handed down to me from my elders. I participate in multiple culture events throughout San Diego County where I teach basket weaving and beading in celebration of my tribe, the San Luis Rey band of the Luiseño people.
